woman walking on a straight clear path

What is the difference between a career and a calling? A career is generally considered a field or pursuit of consecutive progressive achievement especially in public, professional, or business life. While a calling a profession that fulfills a strong desire or feeling of duty to do a particular job, especially one in which you help other people.

Most people answer this question quickly, take a moment to really think about your answer and then take an hour and really think – whatever your answer, is that the life you’re living? Is that the goal you’re working towards? Can you see a future where you’re actively living your choice?

If your answer is that you want to pursue a calling, consider giving some serious thought to divorce coaching. Whether you’re already in a profession related to the business of divorce or simply went through or know someone who went through a heart-wrenching divorce, there’s a place for you in divorce coaching that will allow you to help people going through one of the most traumatic and emotional periods of their life.

What are the benefits of becoming a divorce coach?

      • You can work from home. You can work from an office. The choice is yours.
      • You can add divorce coaching into something you’re already doing (family attorney, mediator, life coach, career coach, financial advisor, etc.).
      • The training that you’ll go through during the CDC Certified Divorce Coach® program will not only enable you to help other people, you’ll also be able to put the tools to use in your own life as well. One of the comments we hear most often from people that have completed the program is how they’ve had so many “Eureka!” moments during the training on aspects of their own life.
      • You will know that you are having a positive impact not only during the divorce process but far into the future of your client’s lives.

CDC Certified Divorce Coaches® know and understand first-hand the impact that divorce can have on individuals and families. They bring compassion and confidence into their coaching and enable their clients to focus on the business part of divorce rather than become overwhelmed at the emotional aspect of the process. Unlike other divorce coaches, CDC Certified Divorce Coaches® help their clients learn to make better decisions from the very beginning of the process, to avoid the biggest mistakes in divorce, and to be confident that they have a thinking partner throughout the whole process, so they don’t have to struggle alone!

Make this the year you stop working a job and start living a calling. There’s still time to register and join the May training program which starts May 2nd and runs through July 28th, but time is running out – don’t wait, take this opportunity to enrich not only your client’s lives, but your own.

Divorce often has a far-reaching negative impact – but it doesn’t have to be that way! Divorce Coaching is all about helping the client to move forward, take the high road, and make the best possible decisions for their future based on their wants, needs and concerns.

We still have a free Divorce Coaching Masterclass Session left, Friday, April 28th. Join us as we take rich material from the Certified Divorce Coach® Training to help you to support your individual divorce clients in becoming clients who are heard and can speak to their needs effectively. In the process, you will understand how satisfying and beneficial divorce coaching can be for your clients and your practice!
