Welcome to our Caring Co-Parent Coach™ Training and Certification

Healthy Families - Healthy Relationships

A Caring Co-Parent Coach helps parents to focus on their children’s best interests as the first priority, helping their children transition from a one-household family to a two-household family in such a way that they feel unconditionally accepted in both households.

Co-parenting coaches can help the parents shift their perspective to the child’s experience. Ask parents to consider:

  • How does your child feel when they hear you argue?
  • What messages are you sending about love, security, and family?
  • What kind of childhood do you want them to remember?

The work of a Caring Co-Parent Coach extends beyond divorce and can include working with both parents before divorce, outside of divorce , or post-divorce to overcome conflicts arising from different parenting styles, perspectives from their own childhood experiences and come to agreement on a child-focused mindset, that in the longer term, ensures that their children are able to develop as a fully expressed version of themselves, and grow into adulthood with a healthy sense of self.

In this program, you will learn how to use your coaching skills to coach not only one parent and will learn the parameters for coaching two co-parents so they can work together and shift from conflict to cooperation and put their focus on the well-being of the children.

You will learn how to help parents:

  • Learn ways to manage their emotions
  • Identify their effect on their child’s development
  • Envision the future they want for their family
  • Learn how to support their child based on the child’s age
  • Communicate with each other and the children
  • Manage conflict between parents
  • Develop strategies for handling family dynamics

A Mentoring session is also included where you will have the opportunity to ask questions specific to your interests as you move forward  as a bonus to the class sessions.

Parents are not given a parenting manual or training program when they get married. The stresses and strains and busy schedules of life often can make parenting increasingly difficult. During divorce, the stresses tend to increase and make parenting even more difficult. At some point the children can be shared between two households adding even more difficult communications.

A divorce coach specializing in co-parent coaching can be an essential thinking partner, a voice of reason, assisting parents in their divorce generally and with specific skills to help parents be the best parents they can be for everyone’s benefit.

Hear What Graduates Have To Say:

“The Caring Co-Parent Coach program gives coaches a wide array of tools and knowledge to help co-parents navigate their co-parenting issues and work towards a healthier post-divorce dynamic. This program is unique because the coaches will learn about child development, high conflict between co-parents, communication skills and how to determine whether you should coach one parent alone or both together. Coaches will be able to hit the ground running with sample intake forms, client agreements and shareables for their clients. Plus, the opportunities for mentoring with the advisory board members allows coaches to practice new skills and ask questions.”

Florida Divorce Coaching and Mediation

“The Caring Co-Parent Coach™ program I completed is a specialized track within the Certified Divorce Coach® framework that focuses specifically on helping parents reduce conflict and prioritize their children’s well-being during and after divorce. Unlike the broader CDC program, which addresses a wide range of divorce-related issues, this certification equips coaches with targeted tools to support both parents in developing respectful communication, consistent parenting strategies, and collaborative decision-making. It’s a child-centered, forward-focused approach that empowers families to create healthier, more stable co-parenting relationships.”
