The Faith-Based Divorce Coaching is an excellent addition to the Divorce Coaching Intensive. There are elements of the Intensive program that are applicable to faith-based divorce coaching and which are weaved throughout the course. The focus, however, is on how a divorce coach can ‘reach’ and resonate with people of strong faith going through divorce.
One way is to get clients to look back at their own lives to pull out stories that inspire them and create their own Hero’s Journey. A fair amount of time was also spent helping them create their own environment for thriving in their faith despite the red flags that may get thrown in their way from their own congregations.
What made this course especially rich, however, was the spiritual diversity of the group and the lively discussions that occurred in every class. Listening to each other’s different perspectives taught us about each other’s faiths, or ‘lack thereof.’
Divorce will leave your clients in a wilderness. When your clients are done wandering, this course will help them find the direction they need to reach their promised land.
CDC Faith Based Divorce Coach™ Advisory Group
A group of professionals from various backgrounds and who are also CDC Certified Divorce Coaches dedicated their time and energy to identify the content for the Specialty Coach Training and Specialty Certifications. CDC Faith Based Divorce Coach™
The CDC Faith Based Divorce Coach™ certification mark is used to identify individuals who, perform personal divorce coaching services for members of the public. Certified individuals deliver personal divorce coaching services according to the Standards of Ethics and Professional Responsibilities. Only certified individuals who have completed the training and perform personal divorce coaching services according to the professional standards taught in the training and required by the certification regulations are authorized to use the CDC Faith Based Divorce Coach™ mark.
