Why choose me to be your divorce coach?

I recall the time that I was going through my divorce; it was costly in many ways, ways that went beyond dollars & cents. I was processing so much and I had so few people that I could turn to whom I trusted. I ended up spending thousands upon thousands of dollars and hours trusting in lawyers and firing one after another. I finally found a lawyer who really suited me, who aligned with my values and who understood me.

I could talk with him about reasonableness and fairness with the primary focus not on me but on what was in the best interest of my young son, yet it still cost a lot of money. What I had not realized at the time was that I was processing through my emotions with the different lawyers. I was dogmatically holding onto my belief about truth and about being right not understanding that it was not helping my son or me to move on.

I was motivated to become a divorce coach to help facilitate others going through the process because I know how difficult it was for me. My process took a lot of time, energy and money and yet I found joy and happiness on the other side. I want to offer the choice to others going through a divorce to have a thinking partner, a sounding board and a trusted guide.
